Encouraging Telehealth Options

 

Berkshire Hathaway Homestate Companies (BHHC) is committed to ongoing business continuity in order to better protect our insureds and serve our injured workers during this COVID-19 outbreak.

As part of our continuity plan and to address concerns regarding exposure to, or contraction of the COVID-19 virus, BHHC has reached out to our medical providers to encourage utilization or expansion of telehealth services to injured workers covered under a BHHC policy. This would include established patients for follow-up care, and workers who sustain new workplace injuries that are non-life threatening.

We will monitor the situation and make adjustments for the health and safety of our injured workers and medical providers, and we will continue to deliver compassionate care to injured workers and superior service to our customers.
